My stuff from Coastal Scents have arrived!!! Wheeeeee......

When I first purchased from them (2 years ago), none of their stuff got any labels on them. They were just a small company but now they have grown so huge!!

I am not liking the labels though. Looks so cheap, lol.

BUT the quality is wowser!!!!

6 colour contour and blush palette. They are all matte. Can you tell that I have an obsession with matte makeup at the moment! lol.

26 colour shadow blush combo palette. I love the colours in this palette. The purples especially are to die for!

I am still waiting for one more package to arrive. It's taking longer than I have expected. I am hoping it hasn't lost its way here *fingers crossed*.

Anyhooo, if you haven't noticed, I have put a new link up on my blog (right at the top). I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and start a blog sale on some of the makeup that I barely used or bought on impulse (yes, we all suffer from this sickness).


I try to put new stuff on there daily. I have so much to get rid of. Brands ranging from Stila, Nyx, Mac, Dior, Urban Decay and Smashbox. It's based on first come first served :)

I am still alive!

I guess I am caught up with work again. It just never ends. No break for me.... ever!! lol. Actually that's a lie. I am having a break in March Yay!!! Really looking forward to that... and many more things.

There's a Yonex Brunei Open kicking off today.... and no, I am not in it, lol. My glory days have ended long time ago. I am getting rusty and slow now, lol. Then there's that consumer fair on 28th Jan. I really liked going to the fair last year. Even scored some bargains. Plus RBA will be there. I am so going to hog their booth, lol.

For the past weeks, my shopping activity has declined tremendously. The last time I shopped was when I was in Miri and that was so ancient, lol. I got hold of some nice clothes.

See in the middle... my new year's top. So Miri shopping was last year, lol.


There's a makeup store called Stage in Parkson. I didn't go in cos it looked haunted, lol. Anyone know how good it is?

There's also another cosmetics store in Boulevard called Elianto. It's similar to The Face Shop. I bought 4 eyeshadow refills and a palette. I can't remember how much they were but they were hella cheap.


L-R: Elianto 4 e/s palette, Elianto thistle nail polish, Elianto lime green nail polish, Revlon colorstay in early tan, The Body Shop lightening touch 03, The Body Shop lip liner in beech, MAC fascinating kohl (ty Ruza!), Stila brush 26 (ty Deny!) and Lancome color fever dewy shine lipstick in 313.

I mix the Revlon early tan with warm golden cos I am getting a little tanner now. I wish they were more yellow-toned tho.

Elianto palette with the refills. I get to pick any refills I want. Thought I'd go with neutral colours. They are all matte except for the peach ones. It's super shimmery.

At first, I hated them but now they are all I use. I've been sporting natural look for work and they do the job well.

Pigmentation isn't good on its own but on top of TFSI, they last till I am home from work.

I've been on a hunt for my old Lancome lipstick. The label has worn off and I have no idea what shade it is so I took it to Lancome counter to find a match. The MUA got me Lancome 313. In the store, they looked similar to each other. BUT NOOOOOO.... they actually are so different!! I guess the hunt is still on.

I found a few EOTD pics lying around in my hard drive.
I think I did this 2 years ago when I was obsessed with bright makeup.


These 2 are pretty new. I don't get to wear much colourful eyeshadows now cos of work. I miss doing them.

Hello 2010!

Never have I thought that I would need a super duper red lipstick until last night.

The theme was retro, specifically the 60s, the era of P. Ramlee (a legendary actor and singer).

I have been ill-prepared but I managed to pull some vintage outfit out of my wardrobe. Thought I'd go as a go-go girl, lol.

White shirt, dusty pink skirt and a pair of yellow wedges.

Makeup was quick and simple too.. winged eyes with red lips, Katy Perry inspired.

But nooooo... my lips are not red enough. I NEED A BLOODY RED LIPSTICK!! Anyone wanna buy me Mac russian red? :P

Then 6 hours later...

Frizzy hair. Thanks to the pouring rain! lol. BUT look at that winged eyes!! No smudging whatsoever!! I love CS gel liner.

So I stayed out late and had trouble waking up today, lol. Had a very very late lunch at 7pm at Le Taj. Indian food tastes so damn good at night. And I love how quiet the streets are tonight. Bet everyone is catching up on their sleep too.

Anyway, here's wishing everyone a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As requested...


Storage: Most of my makeup go in the light green stackable plastic drawers (on the left) whereas the new ones go in the aluminium traincase (on the right). Little pans of loose powders + eyeshadows go in a fishing tool box (not in the picture) to avoid messiness.


I keep the brushes in little bins.

And lastly, things that I usually reach for go in this cute shabby tray.


I am an organised freak, aren't I? LOL.
